Supporting emotional, relational, and spiritual well-being through compassionate therapy
Life can feel heavy when you’re carrying anxiety, grief, relationship struggles, burnout, spiritual confusion, or emotional pain on your own.
At IVIVO Counseling, therapy offers a compassionate space where you can feel supported, understood, and empowered to begin reconnecting with hope, purpose, and a fuller experience of life.
Hi, I’m Dr. Daniel Reyes
I’m a licensed mental health therapist with over 15 years of clinical experience supporting individuals, couples, and families navigating anxiety, depression, grief, relationship challenges, addiction, spiritual concerns, and major life transitions.
My approach combines evidence-based counseling with a whole-person perspective that honors the emotional, relational, physical, and spiritual aspects of healing.
Above all, therapy at IVIVO is grounded in genuine human connection. Clients are welcomed into a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where they can safely process their experiences, strengthen coping tools, deepen self-understanding, and move toward a more grounded and fulfilling life.
How Therapy Works
My approach to therapy is grounded in evidence-based work, drawing mainly from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing. In simple terms, we’ll focus on practical tools that help you understand what’s getting in the way and move toward the life you want.
After our first session, we’ll work together to create a treatment plan that fits your needs and goals. Most people participate in therapy for 5 to 15 sessions, usually meeting weekly or every other week, depending on what feels right for you. Sessions are typically 50 minutes.
I believe real healing starts with feeling safe and understood.
I place a strong emphasis on building a genuine therapeutic connection and creating a space that feels accepting and collaborative. From there, we’ll tailor our work together to support your unique goals and priorities.
About Online Therapy
When we meet, I encourage you to find a private, comfortable spot where you can settle in and be yourself. If other people are around (family, roommates, or coworkers), wearing headphones can help keep things private.
All sessions are provided online through a secure, HIPAA-compliant video platform. Online therapy works really well for people with busy lives—it’s flexible, convenient, and eliminates common stressors like traffic or taking time off work. Many clients find it easier to stay consistent when therapy fits more naturally into their day.
A Little About Me
I was born in Cuba and immigrated to Canada in 2001, later moving to the United States for my studies and making Florida my home.
I served as a clinical chaplain in Central Florida for more than a decade before transitioning into teaching and private practice.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, staying active, reading, engaging in community activities, and traveling.
How I Can Help
So I concluded there is nothing better than to be happy and enjoy ourselves as long as we can.
